Shooting Star's mission is to enrich the quality of life for the families we serve by providing fun, safe, and nurturing early learning experiences for the children in our care. We empower every teacher and caretaker to find freedom within our framework, encouraging the spirit of creativity. The more we seek knowledge, the more we continue to evolve as a community of early learning educators / learners.

Our classrooms are places of learning and exploration, each one designed and equipped with these goals in mind, while maintaining a warm home-like environment that your child will feel supported in.

All staff are carefully selected based on their experience, qualifications and passion for caring and educating young children. All staff members are registered with the state of Washington and goes through an extensive background check and health and safety training before working with children.
Shooting Star recognizes the importance of staff’s continued education and yearly training in our field.

Our 4 cycle menus have been designed and approved by the USDA Childcare Food program for proper daily nutrition. A weekly menu is posted on the parent’s bulletin board.
You’ll also find your child’s daily menu uploaded to their digital daily report on your Brightwheel app. If your child has specific nutritional need please speak with the director.
